Introduction to Computer Science
Computer science is a set of techniques and disciplines that underpins the theory, design, construction, and use of computers and computer systems.
Computer science focuses more on understanding the features on which applications are built. Based on this understanding, he creates new programs, improves on previous ones.
Considering the importance and value of this science and the current need in Afghanistan, Rabia Balkhi University established the Computer Science Faculty in 2012 to develop its science on development, economics, and technology and to transform the country into an information society. Rabia Balkhi is proud to have dedicated a large number of computer engineers to the community with four graduates of this college.
The computer field has two departments; information technology and software engineering:
Information Technology:
Information Technology studies, designs, develops, implements, provides security, supports, and manages computer-based information systems and computer networks. In particular, it focuses on computer software and hardware applications and computer networks.
Long-term goal: To prepare students who are capable of designing, building, commissioning, troubleshooting, security, and managing computer networks and hardware devices.
software engineering:
Software engineering is a systematic, systematic, and accurate way of producing and delivering quality software products. Software engineering often involves the linear process of analysis, implementation, and testing. Long-term goal: To prepare students to be able to analyze, design, build, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot software systems
